There is one thing the makes the D.A.D. at least a thousand times better than other self defense devices and is exactly why Kortney Blatter and her friend, survived a violent attack while in Italy.

Before saying or thinking, “That’s a ridiculous statement,” let me explain why it is not only true, but grossly understated.

The average person has between a 70% - 80% chance of being assaulted.

If we knew when that was going to happen, we could be prepared, even if we could not prevent the attack. We could at least be prepared, even if on that day only.  We could stay in crowded areas, wear a shark suit covered in armor, have pepper spray in one hand and a gun in the other, hire a team of highly trained body guards, or lock ourselves in an impenetrable safe room.

The Pathways 2 Solutions System 7000 solar powered suit with lethal and non-lethal armaments might be an option, when it comes to market. http://www.pw2s.com/who-we-are.html

However, none of us know when it is going to happen. So, you have to figure out how to be prepared all the time, or at least when you are exposed to attack. The more we make that a habit, the safer we will be and the more peace-of-mind we will enjoy, every day of our lives. If you are alone for a walk, hike, jog, trip to the car after work, walking to your car from the shopping mall, alone at work with someone you don’t, or alone in your home, you are at higher risk in those moments.

The truth is, you do not have to be alone to be in danger. My wife goes on long walks/hikes with anywhere from one to six friends, every day. The more of them there are, the less likely they are to be attacked by another human.  This is not always the case with animals. We have friends and customers who have been attacked by mountain lions and dogs when there were two, three or even four adults in the group when the attack occurred. Those who had a TigerLight or TigerLight D.A.D.® 2, survived the attacks. Those who did not, were seriously hurt or killed.

Here is how and why the “1,000 times better” comes into play:

The single most important attribute of any personal protection or self defense device is whether or not that device will be:

  1. In your hand at the time the attack occurs.

Given that the attack might occur any time between now and the time we die, it has to be something we are willing and able to have in our hand, ready to fire in a split second. This pretty much eliminates anything identified as a weapon. People in our society simply do not  walk, jog or hike or go to their car in the parking garage with a weapon in their hand. There are more guns in America than there are people. In my entire life and in the lives of ten others in our immediate family, we have never seen a person in any of the above referenced situations with a gun in hand or even a can of pepper spray.

Most of my 9 children own guns and have families to protect, but the only time they have a gun in their hand is when they are at a range practicing, or cleaning it. One or two of them have ankle, waist or shoulder holsters. In some situations, that could prove beneficial, if the attack were not a sudden, unexpected physical attack, which the vast majority of civilian-on-civilian attacks are.

This is apart from the fact that many attacks do not merit or justify lethal force, especially when non-lethal force would be effective. This is why all police officers carry non-lethal force options. I’m not, in any way, invalidating the importance of firearms or people’s right to carry. There are situations for which a gun is definitely highly valuable and is the best option. In fact, if you do carry, you should know Emily Valentine at Style me Tactical who provides many unique carry options. You will also see on our website some of the best women’s self defense instructors in the country.

Both my wife and I and nearly all our children, have our D.A.D.’s in our hand every day in one situation or another. My wife has her’s every day on their hikes, as do most of her friends, which makes them all much safer. I have my D.A.D.® 2 on my hand every day when I go mountain biking.

So, if there were a million people with D.A.D.s and guns, I’m extremely confident that there would be at least 10,000 to 100,000 people who would carry a D.A.D. in hand for every one who might have a gun or any other weapon in hand, which make is at least a 1,000 times better option.

The reason for this is that the D.A.D.® 2 personal defense device with military strength pepper spray delivered in a unique way that greatly enhances its effectiveness, concealed in a stunning tactical flashlight and the most advanced, effective Bluetooth/GPS Crowd alert system, is non-weapon in appearance.

It is extremely light weight. It is carried “on” your hand, fingers free, rather than “in” your hand, preventing you from using that hand for other things. With the D.A.D., you can still open car doors, carry bags, ride a bike, even a mountain bike and you do not have to hold onto it. In addition, it has dual use as an excellent 5-mode LED flashlight. It is great to have in the dark, to partially deter or disorient an attacker and is part of it’s non-weapon appearance.

This is just one of four critical differentiators that have caused many of the top self defense experts in the country to state that the D.A.D.® 2 is, “By far, the best personal protection device on the planet.”

In the following articles, we will focus on each of the key differentiators so you can understand why this should be your number one choice for personal protection.
